The Chapel Choirs of the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Old Royal Naval College combine forces in an historic celebration of the life of Queen Mary II. Their concert (26 September, 19.00), part of the 2024 Chelsea History Festival, is a return visit to Chelsea following a critically acclaimed first joint concert earlier this year in Greenwich. The performance will take place at The Wren Chapel, SW3. 

Event of the Week

The National Ballet of Canada is to present the UK premiere of Frontiers: Choreographers of Canada at Sadler’s Wells from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 October. This triple bill includes works by three leading choreographers hailing from Canada: Crystal Pite’s Angels’ Atlas, Emma Portner’s islands and James Kudelka’s Passion.

Music of the Week

British Art Fair presents a showcase of the very best Modern and Contemporary British Art for sale. The 2024 fair at Saatchi Gallery (26 to 29 September) is set to showcase the greatest names in British Art, such as Albert Irvin, David Hockney, Bridget Riley, Frank Auerbach, Alan Davie, Paul Nash, L.S. Lowry, Paula Rego, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin, exhibited by the UK’s leading dealers who are on hand to offer their specialist advice on collecting. 

Exhibition of the Week

Nicholas Hytner’s multi-award winning, immersive production, Guys & Dolls is booking until 4 January next year.
